Anybody think 8 gb of GDDR5 is a mistake for PS4

i'm just thinking is the 4gb of ram worth it, will many games actually use it, they could have went with a much better gpu instead of the 4gb but as some one said i guess it was too late, here is the price estamation for ps4 parts from beyond3d.

Total - 320-401

The PSV components cost $160, yet it broke even at $250. So including all the other associated costs the PS4 should cost Sony about $500 each. 

They're buying in mass bulk. Wouldn't $450-475 be a bit more realistic? Even still, on top of shipping, advertising etc, that could indicate another $599 price.
