Anybody think 8 gb of GDDR5 is a mistake for PS4

No I said the AMD will support GDDR5 in the new memory controler for APU and the manufacture will choose to use the memory... so there will be PC with these APU using GDDR5.

Because their new APU line is largely targeting the Phone and Tablet markets where there is little CPU use... since nobody usese their phones or tablets for number crunching or in depth videogames with complicated AIs... but do want high end graphics.

They're willing to sacrifice CPU use for graphics in more "fluff" machines and low end PCs.
