the thing is where not talking your usual CPU and GPU setup The APU needs bandwith much more than a cpu /gpu setup and since it will use HSA to offset known problems with unified ram of that type it won't be a problem as to the cost obviously they had enough budget info to do it and it seems they have a supply solution , even though it is expensive now it's coming down also that expense has a lot to do with how it's been used up to now , so the sheer scale of the project should drop the margins quite significantly .
