Probably the best battle system, only bettered by Xenoblades offering. Didnt enjoy XII story though so couldnt love the game.
A feature i would like to see included in future games is FFVII's materia system. It not only lent itself to combat and grinding but gave you an incentive to explore the game world fully to find the more powerfull summons. I would love to see them try and implement something like this with XII's battle system.
