What I take away from all of this is that Naughty Dog created a new subgenre of Action/Adventure games with the Uncharted series. Tomb Raider follows the gameplay mechanics to a "T", and it won't be the last game to do so. With a slight change in story, this could have in fact been an offshoot of the Uncharted franchise. This style of gameplay will continue to influence the next generation of gaming. And it will either be to its detriment or advantage, depending on your personal opinion.
