I think,I might agree with this patcher guy for once. The reason is simple, production cost. These games are costing millions and millions of dollars to make these days, and most of the time, there not getting there money back. Your constantly reading about all of these gaming studios closing there doors. Unless it's a big franchise, then most of the time,it's a gamble just to put something new out there. This is just going to lead to a few big gaming studios being left open. You also have the added pressure of smart phones and tablets and so on. I've always said that you can't compare those devices to gaming consoles, but to the casual gaming consumer, those devices are good enough. That just leaves the hardcore consumer left. There going to want better graphics and better gameplay and innovation, but guess what? that's going to cost more. Your going to get a point, were a a gaming company is going to have to sell 5 million copies of a game, just to break even and gaming companies won't be to handle that cost. So they'll probably shift to smartphones and tablets and make cheap games and won't charge but a few bucks for it,then they'll make there money back ten fold. So,i predict the console generation will collasape upon itself. So,am I the only one that see's it that way? thoughts? opinion?
