I think we will see: Valve Steam Box (the default or minimum specs), X Steam Box, Y Steam Box, etc... Valve will use the concept that to make money... you can't make your own Steam Box without be accept by Valve... err pay royalties.

It should be interesting, whatever they end up doing. :)
