Slow, anime, tiring, repetitive and generally boring. I've put in a few hours, but simply could not engage with female-Squall or with wannabe-Zell at all throughout the 6-7 hours that I've played. I know a lot of people say the game picks up after 20 hours or so, but I just couldn't put up with it for that long...as opposed to Final Fantasy IX which grabbed me by the throat from the very start and kept me engaged throughout the whole thing.
I like a bit of exposition as much as the next guy...but it would be nice to actually feel engaged by the whole thing.
White Knight Chronicles I seem to remember coming free with the sequel. I may check to see if the package is still available at my local stores.
