I'm sorry but Rare does not fully own KI. Any more than, as I've said before, Battletoads, or RC Pro Am, or Blast Corps, etc. The only games they fully own OUTRIGHT, are the games they published themselves on N64. Hence the reason the only games you've seen on Xbox from them, have been Perfect Dark, Conker, and Banjo.

Which is all irrelevant, as others have pointing out, because as I also mentioned earlier, almost all of the phenomenal talent, most especially the company founders the Stamper brothers, jumped ship soon after or some time after the sale of Rare happened. Pretty much ALL of the people behind their SNES and N64 greatness are no longer with the company. And that shined through in the new Perfect Dark and Banjo games. Rare simply is not a top developer anymore, not in terms of quality, or gamer anticipation.

I'm not trying to shit on your idea at all, in fact, for what it's worth, while I don't like Xbox as a console nor will I own one, I agree with you that it WOULD be a nifty idea for Rare to make a DKR type game sans the Nintendo owned characters. But will they, and would it be any good? These days, sadly, who knows?
