While i agree with you, i think the connectivity won't hurt. And there is always a chance it could catch on at some time. I mean motion gaming was a gimmic and then came the Wii. So you never know what product or feature might ''hit'' all of a sudden ;)

I'd rather the focus be on more reliable stuff to push sales. Remote play will not convince people that a 32GB memory card should cost as much as a 1TB HDD.

Does remote play on Vita depend on memory cards at all ?
OT: I believe if PS4 titles could be played on Vita using Gaikai. Sales for the handheld would rise significantly.
