Nope, just wrong. Just because a woman thought it up does not make it OK. SSM should patch this trophy and call it something else. The genesis of the phrase is deeply sexist, borderline mysogynistic. It's use has no place in such an out of context useage. Like the N word the phrase can be used in the right context in entertainment (e.g. the prolific use of the N word in Django unchained was contextually appropriate), but this isn't one of those contexts when it's OK to use to use that phrase.

People have got to use the Fox News test on these things. If on Fox and Friends the topic of the cultural awfulness of video games is brought up, and one person says, "yeah there's this video game that gives gamers a reward called 'bros before hos', how sexist is that? What is the video game industry teaching our young males?" There's no way you can contextualise it to even explain it away, which that tweet amply demonstrates "Oh it's OK-ish because a woman thought it up", pathetic. So score 1 for the anti-video game "moral majority". And on this criticism they would be largely right with their condemnation.

But in addition, Sessler noting it specifically as a reason for marking the game down because it exploded the illusion of the game having some sort of gravitas is pretty lame. I like the 5 game's story up to Ascension, and Kratos has more nuance and self awareness to his character than people who only see clips of the game think. But it's really not deep and meaningful.
