Who are you talking to? Because I never said anything about inter-generational gaps. I said COD2-3 weren't representative of the potential of the PS3/360, just like current Wii U games are not representative of its potential. How about responding to that instead of going off on a tangent about something I never said? The idea that graphics define generations is an obsolete concept, a relic of the 20th century. It died back with the DS/PSP, and the Wii was the nail in its coffin. And you're wrong by the way, Trine 2 Director's Cut graphically exceeds the capabilities of the PS3 and 360. |
You're not reading what I am saying.
CoD 2 & 3 were clearly superior to anything out on the PS2/Xbox/GC. The Wii U has shown us NOTHING that is superior. Therefore it's potential obviously must not be a lot if the release titles do not show us an improvement over existing consoles. This makes it's launch far weaker than the PS3's.
"A relic of the 20th century" Erm how? DF and EA's CEO say you're wrong. Either way try not to digress.
Trine 2 is not noticably better. It's such a small amount it hasn't impressed anyone and no one is calling it next-gen. Can you say the same about the PS3's launch titles?
