I agree with all of this, only gender-reversed and I very much identify as straight (or maybe I'm in denial 
) By which I mean, I'll watch FF and FFM and sometimes FM but never MM (the guys put me off, I can't imagine any guy other than my bf).

As for kids: I mean, babies are cute, and I'd love to see what mine would look like. BF wants them badly, I know it would break his heart if we didn't but right now I'm practically married to my career (3 year Ph.D. in fire, I'd have to leave if I got preg. because I wouldn't be allowed in the labs). Don't know when the timing will ever be right or if I'll ever feel grown up enough. Hopefully one day, but I'm not as baby-brained as my other half.
