A game can be technically impressive but still fall short on accolade. History kind of shows that linear games tend to have the advantage and it indicates the same in reviews as well. GoW even has a fixed camera which controls what you see. That, in of itself is a huge advantage.

Except, Halo 4's graphical awards was split down the middle between technically and artstyle where as Jouney was all artstyle.
