Look at the Sim City and Diablo 3 fiascos at launch
Of course always online consoles are a horrific idea. Not to mention that over half of the worlds internet infrastructure isnt even prepared for something like that.
We already know PS4 isn't always online and if the next Xbox is, it's doomed.
