Many of these expectations are unrealistic. GDC is for Game Developers. Developers giving presentations like to show off what they're working on, and so we'll end up with some awesome footage of upcoming games, and possibly some game announcements. But I don't think dates or hardware SKU info ever comes from GDC. Maybe I'm wrong.
