Yeah... Sensationalism in media has been an issue in my country too, on different ways... It's ridiculous how much time is dedicated to crime news in my country, with meaningless display of the victims distress or violent crimes that don't add anything to the viewer. Not as graphic as what you're talking about, but well, you guys have other problems...
Hopefully the peace process ends well for your country. My father actually visited there and he mentions from time to time how wonderful of an experience it was and how great the people there are.
