I don't know, to be honest. I'll have to wait and see how the next two years go with 3DS and Vita before I predict whether or not either of those companies switch over to iOS/Android/Windows devices for their handheld games.
Normally I'd say Nintendo would never leave the portable handheld market, as it's nearly half of their business, but if Iwata ends up leaving next year due to not achieving 100 billion yen profit, who knows what happens with them... Presumably his successor would be willing to develop games for mobile/tablet devices, if he was unwilling to do so.
The Screamapillar is easily identified by its constant screaming—it even screams in its sleep. The Screamapillar is the favorite food of everything, is sexually attracted to fire, and needs constant reassurance or it will die.
