Tell that to me millions of people he killed in his 14 years of being president. I'm from Venezuela and I know exactly what's happening in there, he deserved to died, period. |
What about the improvements to life there, that only happened because of him? From what i've heard, Poverty has halved there, as has child mortality, he has given people free healthcare and education and unemployment has fallen by half in 13 years. And if he is really killing people, why is he so popular? People could of voted him out at any time, they could of voted for Henrique Capriles, but they didn't. Chavez couldn't of been that bad. And if he did kill millions of people, where's your proof anyway? and are you sure that's not to do with the notoriously murder rate in Caracas?
And even if Chavez was a bad leader, he was among the best Venezuela had. At least, he tried to represent his people. Maybe, things will get better without him, but the socialist revolution will not die just let. Also, i respect him for being one of the few to actually stand up to the USA, and show it's blantatly obvious flaws.
