Well, Microsoft has owned them for nearly a decade and they've only made a Kinect title the last five years.
It's not rocket science where people are getting this idea from. Until they ACTUALLY MAKE a AAA Core game then the fact remains they are not making great games like they used to anymore (Donkey Kong, KILLER INSTINCT anybody?!?). And that's a fact.
Anyone who can't see that Rare being bought by Microsoft has stifled their creative integrity is blind or lying to themselves.
