Would it be a smart move if MS made playing games online on Xbox live free next gen?

no way will they fall, there marketing is just to strong for that to ever happen. 

Their agressive advertisement campaign seem to work on the US but not so much in the rest of the world.

No doubt they will be on a vulnerable position. I bought a 360 for the JRPG's back in the day and hope that microsoft would wise up and make online play free.

As you can imagine, im not a pleased costumer and i wont be buying an Xbox next gen. It might be beyonf repair, because my faith on microsoft is lost, but starting with several new IP's and free online play would make me wonder.

and that seems like the only market they care off, there first party IP just seem to cater to the USA mostly. 

i never was an xbox costumer and dont plan on being so, it seems like i will get screwed more than i will be happy with an xbox
