Not surprised. # of Apps is a big deal in mobile OS and MS is fourth in app support after iOS, Android and Blackberry. Why would anyone want to get a tablet with poor app support?
However, MS might have the last laugh as hybrid laptop/tablets become increasingly popular and currently only Windows 8 can support such devices.
