Yeah, pretty much every tablet manufacturer (whom is not called Apple) will do that.

But I allways believed that Samsung will be last, seeing that they are so huge that they might actually remain in every market segment as far as it exists. Maybe that is why they became so huge. They know when something was a bad decission.


I pretty much agreed with the BBC presenter and therefore thought that Samsung would be the first. Samsung has a lot going for it with Android.

Other manufacturers are still trying to find the tablet OS for the perfect marriage so they would stick W8 out and hope for the best. Maybe some have used up so much of their resources developing the platform they have no choice.

Samsung on the other hand don't need to wait it out. If W8 is a flop they have the resources to drop it and carry on with their  huge money maker that is Android. They are also pushing Chrome netbooks that seems to be finally making some headway.

Both are free Open Source OSes that Samsung can manipulate as they wish. As far as I know W8 is a closed OS and cost money, if not that much.
