I am not really surprise. Samsung and Android make a hugely successful partnership. Windows was always going to be the other woman ( or man).
I watched a BBC tech show last year and to give the presenter credit, he hinted that at the very first signs "of trouble" Samsung would drop Windows like a hot brick, cut their losses and steam onwards with Android.
