-A midrange PC from 2006 does last as long as the PS3. I know because I own one. You do not, so I understand why you are skeptical. -Yes that does include all that stuff. -The fact is PS4's graphics card will be downclocked to save on yields and heat, while the PC's 7850 can always overclock an extra 20% to compete with high end cards. If anything it will not be weaker. -Also a 7850 comes with Bioshock: Infinite and Tomb Raider. So now you can deduct $110. Hmm that makes it $500 for a PS4 now + being able to do everything you already need a PC for.
To everyone else: Seriously people you need to calm down. Why do PC's have to be bad price/performance wise? It's like some of you can't accept that they are affordable now, and frankly idk why. PC's were complete rip-offs in 2005 when SONY and MS were killing themselves to sell their consoles at massive losses, but that just isn't true anymore. I will be getting a PS4 day 1 for its games, portability, and the fact that it can be used with my Vita. However PC's really are worth looking into people. |
- So, what's the specs of that 2006 PC?
- Only one way to be sure of that one - wait for the PS4 to release.
- I'll still believe digital foundry over you when they say that PS4's GPU is more powerful. Funny how you ignore that.
- Even funnier when you're trying to pass the PS4 as a $500 machine.
