I'm about 7hrs into it.
Its the closest thing to a legitimate SNES heir I've ever played. Not on the level of 4-6, but its right below them in terms of quality. I wish the world and character pixel art was better, but that's about the only gripe I have with the game.
The monster art is FANTASTIC. Every monster looks like its from an SNES game - just beautiful.
Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
