Perhaps reviewers in general likes it but after seeing some gameplay videos I've decided to downgrade SC5 to bargain bin status. Being able to upgrade buildings is a cool concept and I like the idea of a region with several cities working together. I've also waited for the curvy roads.
But the city size just ruins everything. Building attachements requires more of your precious space and using curvy roads to make nicely looking neighborhoods isn't very efficient so that addition is more or less pointless.
Really don't care about the always online stuff since the map sizes alone is a dealbreaker for me.
Here's hoping for modders to save the game or Paradox to make Grand Cities: Totally not Sim City.
