MGS2 and MGS3 are my favorites. The former may be flawed but it left a HUGE impression on me. The latter is so polished it shines. If it wasn't for the technological limitations of the PS1 I'd say the original is the best game in the series. I find the way they portrayed Snake in MGS1 makes him out to be such a bad ass. The changes they made in Twin Snakes annoyed the shit out of me so I find MGS1 > MGS Twin Snakes.
