Oh my god where do these guys come from? A PC from 1980 would have been able to support 1080p. (Perhaps he would have only painted one polygon per hour but who cares 1080p Woohooo)

When do you get it the resolution alone doesn't mean shit. Even the Ps3 and 360 which are 10times more powerful than the Wii mostly use 720p because the images they can compute for 720p look better than a potential 1080p game with fewer pixel-render operations.

If you want gorgeous HD graphics buy a 360 or a PS3, if you like the motion controls of the Wii buy a Wii but please think before you write.

I said there is no need to buy the ps3 and 360 just because they support hd (which alot of people with little knowlege of graphics do) if you could get it elsewhere. I didn't say anything about the other graphical capabilites.

@Everyone What did the ps2,xboc do to produce 720p and 1080i.  Do these games look crappy or good.

@souixan I agree with everthing except the wii being close in power to the xbox. The wii is far more efficient has alot more ram and the gamecube rivaled the xbox in graphics alot of the time so the wii is most likely 2 times more powerful than the xbox.
