The intent was not there so you will be ok, just don't do it again. Also during a breakup never ever ever evha evha contact your ex....ever. This will allow you to move on, and it will give the other party room that they also need to move on as well. And when you do see them in person again just smile say hi and keep it moving, no small talk you are too busy for that.
No facebook, twitter, drop her friends, no texting, phone calls, none a that, just keep it moving. And don't go jumping into another relationship either, give yourself time, or you might end up hurting someone else emotionally.
Also a bit extreme, but try and live single, relationships are so overrated and selfish in today's society. Chase money not love, that shit will set you free.
