I think you are pretty squarely in Nintendo's camp. Are you suggesting that I am not?
Don't feel safe because you are already discounting Nintendo's attempt at attracting the hardcore gamers just because they are focusing, early on on the casuals and nongaming demographic. Thier whole strategy is to rack in overwhelming numbers with the casuals and nongamers and once that is set and done, the software will come in. Hardcores will have no choice but to get a Wii because most of the good games are going to be coming out for it.
Like what the DS is doing now. It started with Brain Training and Nintendogs. Then it got Dragon Quest IX :)
