Here it is again with some information!
http://www.cinemablend.com/games/Assassin-Creed-4-Trailer-Reveals-Hero-Captain-Edward-Kenway-53212.html

So, we have a new hero named Captain Edward Kenway, which just so happens to be the same last name as Connor and Haytham in AC3.   Might be a connection there.  Also I like that he is dressed more like Altair.

It's his grandfather.

I see now.  i guess I should have read it first.  I saw the name in the URL.  So Connor will more than likely be in the game if he isn't dead.

I doubt he was even born at this point. Maybe we see his father.

Damn, I am blanking out right now.  So it's haytham's father.  I wonder what makes Haytham ***SPOILERS*** turn into a templar if his father was an assassin.

Here is what we have

Edward Kenway - Assassin - AC IV
Haytham Kenway - Templar - AC III
Connor Kenway - Assassin - AC III

I think there is already some lore about why Haytham become a templar
http://assassinscreed.wikia.com/wiki/Haytham_Kenway

I hope we get more of Haytham. Not only did he have a great hat, but also a great English accent, I loved him!

Playing the Haytham story bit was one of the highlights of AC3 for me....i really enjoyed those missions they were tight and focused. Haytham as a character was also really interesting.

Going from Haytham to Connor was....well underwhelming and dissapointing. Not only did the game go south from there on but the gameplay and missions did as well. Its as if the game was developed by 3 or 4 different teams.
