Rayman Legends wouldn't have been in the same situation as Rayman Origins and you know it.

Regardless, late ports aside, 20k is obscure niche JRPG in America territory. It would be utterly ridiculous to expect a game like Rayman to perform worse than that.

In a 3 million userbase? It's not Mario that sells for 50% of the userbase... it's a niche game that sells for less than 5% of the userbase... I can't a first week bigger than 20k.

It's going to be interesting when Rayman eventually releases in September, because even though the Wii U userbase will be higher, there will be some who choose to buy the game on another platform, or even choose to not buy it at all out of protest to the decision. Thus, the logic you are using to say 20k FW now would be just as relevant in September with the first week on Wii U then.

this makes no sense, who would do such a thing, if the Wii U version is going to be the best one, why not buy it for Wii U if you have one?
