Simple fact is these might be larger installs then most but most have installs. Just delete data as you beat games or jsut upgrade the HDD. Or by an external HDD, a 1TB external drive is only $200 - $250. |
An external hard drive will work, but mainly for the media use of the PS3. I don't think you can install any game demo's or gamedata onto an external hard drive. However, you can backup your saved game data and I think you'd be able to use the PS3's backup feature as well for an external HDD.
