People do realize/remember that the WiiU launch month was better than the Xbox 360 or PS3.
And even after the slump in January, the three-month sales numbers were higher than for those consoles.
Plus, the global economy is not what it was a few years back.
If Nintendo gets production efficiencies for a price cut, combined with Mario Kart and one or two other titles, it should fare fine.
