I really don't think there is much chance of that. Tons of Japanese games are still being made. The only problem is getting them localized, though most of the best Japanese PS3 games have been brought to the west. I don't see why that wouldn't continue with the PS4. The list of Japanese developers on that Sony splash screen was pretty impressive, including a lot of niche developers.
