Let me clarify, the studies I am referring to regarding are studying divorce rate of all couples leagally married at that marriage time to now. So for something like 8 years in The Netherlands, and 5 in Massachusetts, as the last revision of the study was a year or two ago. But they were looking at every year as you described. But the numbers showed up within, the first year, and haven’t deviated significantly. The theory is that if a male-male wants to get married, they really want to stay married. But I honestly don’t know the reason for their lower than average divorce rate. Yes, I could see how one would think that the divorce rate for a same sex couple would be higher, but sastically it is not the case. Here is another big of odd trivia – the rate of domestic assault of woman-woman couples is virtually the same man-woman according to USA police reports.

Right, like I said... that's the problem though. Right now you have a lot of pent up "good marriage" demand. So you would expect divorce rates to naturally be lower. Really "accurate" Numbers wont be gotten for a good 15-20 years... and honestly, by then hopefully they'll be the same only because people will be more accepting of such relationships.
As for Woman/Woman marriages i'm not that surprised. Domestic violence committed by women is lower, but violence by women is on the rise. Add in the added stress of homophobia, the added stress of finding a new mate with like 1/10th the dating pool, greater feelings of isolation vs society...
