"They wanted to not let ms have a head start this time." Exactly, when Sony heard that MS was launching the 720 soon, they didn't want to be left behind again, so they reveal the PS4 out of desperation to try to rehash the Sony of yore. Sony is like the lonely forgotten child that's flailing his arms and yearns for attention. |
Of course Sony doesn't want to give Microsoft a head start again. They gave Microsoft a year headstart this gen (not to mention the massive pricetag) and have been playing catch up since. It would be the excact same thing if Microsoft let Sony have a free year on the market.
You are living in delusions if you think the Playstation brand is or should be forgotten. It's still a powerful force in the industry. Nobody here said anything about Sony doing no wrong, most Playstation fans know the PS3 had a really bad launch and was handled pretty poorly at the beginning. The PS4 has been in development for about 5 years now. It's likely both Sony and Microsoft are near the end of development and nothing said or announced this far along can be seen as a move of desperation.
I like how you say "it's competition" then call Sony a "lonely forgotten child that's flailing his arms and yearns for attention". It's apparent you'd like to see Sony out of the hardware business. Think of how much the competition would suffer if Sony disappeared. What does "rehash the Sony of yore" mean? You mean selling the most consoles ASWELL as having a large library of games? Uhm yeah, isn't that every console makers wish? It certainly should be.
The hate in you is powerful indeed.
