I'm sort of in the same boat. I pretty much stuck to both Nintendo and Sony back to the day and I loved games like Spyro, Jak, Ratchet & Clank, and Sly Cooper. Now the only one of those I deem to be remotely healthy is Sly.
People like to rat on Nintendo for sticking to age-old formulas, but at least they remember what made them stand out to begin with.
