Nintendo is my favorite gaming company. I play many more of their games then I do Sony's. The do things that are absolutely atrocious (hardware and online wise) but their games interest me much more than any one else.
I bought a PS3 this gen, and tried all of Sony's new IPs. Uncharted 2 was fun once, but overall it was superficial, and I don't feel any desire to play another entry. LBP was fun because everyone was creating levels for a while, but the next installments didn't catch my interest at all. I don't like racing games, and GOW is not my cup of tee. The only IP from Sony that I really liked this gen was Infamous. I loved both of those games.
Sony is great, I love their online commitment, impressive hardware, and their ability to try new IP's, but Nintendo games are just a lot more fun for me. Nothing wrong with having the opposite opinion.
