If you're just wondering why most people here prefer eastern games, the answer is that most people here grew up with consoles, which were largely dominated by Japanese games. WRPG's like Skyrim making their way to consoles is a relatively new phenomenon - their home was primarily on the PC. Same with shooters, Call of Duty basically replaced Counter-Strike. Western games doing well has never been a new thing, the only difference now is that consoles are cannabilizing PC games (see: current whining about consoles ruining PC games). If ten years or so pass, and the current trend continues, the Japanese crowd will be thinned out on (general) console websites more and more, probably. |
no no no no. I am bringing up the issue with people talking bad about western games yet they are the ones that sell and get rated well. These eastern games dont sell well ANYWHERE in the world and for the most part get rated badly too. There is a select few eastern games that do well
