It could be many things, for starters the consoles will have 0 user base, second the owners of that consoles are expecting a big graphic leap that will most likely represent a lot of work for Ubisoft to achieve, third one is that the game development started a year ago when the consoles were still rumors and usually dev kits are hard to get in quantity and are expensive to get games ready for launch. It is still possible that they change their minds if they feel that the gamer will not mind a small graphical update instead of a big one, they can get more dev kits in the next months and/or the porting itself is very cheap. So don't lose hope but be ready for the worst. |
(At least) 2 of the 3 reasons you list were also true for WiiU and it got a version of AC3.
They will also launch it for them.
