Not really. Republicans voted for it sure. So did a majority democrats.
32-14 in the Senate as far as Democrats go. 118 to 65 in the house.
So around twice as many democrats were for a superflous federal gay marriage ban. then were against it.
The sad part is, most of those people are probably still in power.
They're the party that stupidly still wants it kept around. However it wouldn't of existed in the first place had Democrats not been more then happy to saddleup and put the vote in together with them.
