I think your a BIT high on your expectations there graphics card wise.  Trash just bought a 7970 because it would comfortably outpower the PS4 for the generation meaning he won't have to further upgrade for shared PC/console games.

 

It's not the be all end all but it's worth noting the 7970 pushes far more then that.

The HT 7970 have almost twice the raw power than PS4 GPU but the consoles optimization here will put the overall performance close... there consoles are created to use near 100% of the raw power... PC can't use more than 60%.

That's not entirely true anymore. Newer consoles have more overhead than they ever had. While the software can still be better optimized, they wont use 100% power (capability) for any game. Anyone who says differently really doesn't know.
