Microsoft should have no problem implementing BC, they are not switching architectures completley, the 360 and to some extent the xbox before it has always been basically a gaming optimzied PC, compare that to the CELL in the PS3 and the Emotion engine of the PS2 and you will see sony tends to stick to propritary (until now with ps4)
