Just because Sony is releasing new devices, doesn't mean they're automatically gonna set the world on fire..
PS4 will most likely sell at the very least decent numbers based on third party support and brand name alone, but will probably launch at a high price and thus stumble out the gate again much like PS3. Same situation with the 4k TVs, they'll sell eventually, but it's way way too early for products that expensive to sell to a mass market audience.
