That's the first thing I thought, too.  If I can get the three extra months + $10 back, I'm in.  Of course, they don't sell anything that costs a penny so I'll have to buy other stuff.. :/

Looks like they will give you the $10 if you just purchase the PSN+ subscription for $49.99. Check out comment #7 and #33:

My current PS+ subscription doesn't expire until the summer.  If I purchase now, the extra 15 months will just get added on, correct?

From what I've read the subscriptions do stack. So if your current subscription ends in 5 months and you purchase another PSN+ subscription (12 months + 3 months bonus) your subscription will be good for another 20 months (5+12+3).
