To me the problem isn't used games but how they're being sold , this isn't like the old days where you got them at a second hand store or boot sale , they are now being sold in the same stores as new games and in direct competition since you are quite often pushed toward the second hand purchase even when you bring a new game to the counter .
You don't go into dept stores and find second hand goods next to the new stuff and being promoted yet it happens with games and that is the problem not used games themselves .
