People can flash their genitalia (show screenshots) as much as they like.
Genesis/SNES -> PS1/Saturn = Massive
PS1/Saturn -> PS2 = Massive
PS2/GC/Xbox -> PS3/Xbox360 = Not Massive
PS3/Xbox360 -> PS4/NextBox = Not Massive
It's hard to be impartial though, fond memories will always be fond memories, whereas memories from last week won't be fond.

Proof is that GT4 was still fun on the PS2 even after playing Forza 2 on the Xbox 360.
Super Hang on was not fun after playing Manx TT on the Sega Saturn. (though quite enjoy it for bit of nostalgia nowadays)
