how is it clunky?
It looks tremendously thick compared to the Sandy Bridge architecture in ultrabooks. Take the Samsung Series 9 for example...
wat. How does it look thick?
Don't even bother, the Tablet Z is the thinnest 10" tablet, the guy obviously has an agenda as has is recent posts has shown, or he just has bad eyes.
Source?
By the way, there are ultrabooks thinner than this
It comes straight from the horse's mouth. Which ultrabook is thinner?
I already gave the Series 9 as an example, but I wouldn't be suprised if reports come back that Surface is thinner, since it seemed like the only tablet on the market who even came close to the Series 9 in terms of sleekness.
Samsung Series 9
12.3" (W) x 8.6" (H) x 0.50" (D)
Xperia Tablet Z: 10.47 x 6.77 x 0.27 inches Please stop spreading bullshit misinformation.
How thick is the keyboard attachment? You're only using the screen dimensions.
To top this off, the Tablet Z uses a low performance ARM, which is nowhere near the same league as the Core i7 Sandy Bridge.
You said Series 9 was thinner, I proved you wrong, stop with the unnecessary bullshit.
Have no idea what this series 9 is.
But sounds like it has a detachable keyboard. Thus "without" the keyboard it is then a tablet, and thus dimensions should be compared to the tablet sereis 9 and not to the series 9 with the keyboard cnonected. Cause if you really wanted a tablet you could easily leave the keyboard in your closet and never use it.
It doesn't, you have google.com for free, please use it. Sony says the Tablet Z is the thinnest tablet on the market, dimensions are there, compare it to tablets you're sure are actually thinner and report back.
Ok then. I'm not going to google, i don't give a shit. I was just saying he made it sound like the keyboard detached, thus why I said you should compare the sizes of the tablet to the "detached" tablet. You say it doesn't, so end of story.
Never get why people cares so much over 1/4" or less situations or a couple ounces in weight ect.
I recall a iphone 5 commercial bragging about how its like 2 ounces lighter or .1 mm thinner or some bullshit. Kind of like "really" does that matter to anyone?
